Welcome to the new SECF.org!

If you’re reading this post, you’ve probably already noticed an entirely new look to our website – but the changes you’re seeing run much deeper than a new design!

The new SECF.org is more modern, more user-friendly and designed to help you gain even more out of your SECF membership. Our staff has put plenty of thought and work into creating an online experience that provides easy access to opportunities for connection, learning, engagement and inspiration!

Our website provides you access to the resources and services you need, no matter what device you’re using, from a smartphone to a desktop. We’ve also reorganized and streamlined the content from our previous site, making it much easier to find what you’re looking for.

What else does the new SECF.org offer? Some of our new features include:

  • An easier, intuitive event registration process!

  • A searchable library of research reports collected from throughout the country!

  • An organized catalog of foundation resources on a range of topics!

  • And more! We plan to add even more features in the future, including a comprehensive archive of program materials and opportunities for you to interact directly with fellow SECF members.

We’ve also carried over popular features from our previous site, including our blog, Engage, where members, staff and partners share insights on the latest trends and issues in philanthropy, as well as our Career Center, where members can post job openings for those seeking a career in Southern Philanthropy.

Our new site is also backed up by a new member database that will allow the SECF staff to provide even greater, more responsive support to members throughout the region. Thanks to the new database, you’ll also have an easier time managing your own membership online.

Our goal in transitioning to a new site and database has been to minimize any disruptions or downtime that would affect your ability to engage with SECF online. However, as with any project like this, some issues or questions may arise. If you see something on the site that isn’t working correctly, or are having difficulty finding any content, please contact us at (404) 524-0911 so we can assist.

We’re very excited about the possibilities opened up by these improvements – we’re eager to use these new and improved tools to further our mission of serving, connecting, strengthening and championing Southern Philanthropy, and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Janine Lee is SECF's president and CEO.
