Save the Date! 2018 Family Foundations Forum
June 12-15, 2018 • Asheville, NC • Omni Grove Park Inn

For family members, trustees or staff - this is the place to be!

Upholding the public trust. Serving as a pillar of the community. These phrases are nothing new to the world of family philanthropy, but they may be more important than ever.

Communities throughout the South are changing rapidly - in some ways that are good, but in others that present challenges for everyone, including foundations. Philanthropy is also changing, with new practices and trends revolutionizing the field. Families are changing, too, as Baby Boomers retire, Generation X takes over and Millennials seek their own role.

Family foundations must be prepared to not only survive this turbulent climate, but thrive - and continue to make a lasting difference in the communities they've called home for generations.

SECF's Family Foundations Forum remains a signature opportunity for family members, staff and trustees to come together, make connections and spark collaborations.

Registration for the 2018 Family Foundations Forum opens spring 2018!

More details about the Family Foundations Forum, including speaker and session details, will be announced in the coming weeks - we can't wait to tell you what we have in store!

The Southeastern Council of Foundations strives to support Members and grantmakers with access to education, resources and networking by serving as a convener and facilitator, offering a diverse range of voices and perspectives. We do not endorse colleague organization views, but rather aim to provide access to a broad range of information and resources to increase grantmaking impact and develop philanthropic leaders throughout the region.
