Common Wealth: Kentucky’s Path to Shared Progress

Grantmakers of Kentucky's 7th Annual Conference
August 2-3, 2017 • Lexington, KY

Connect with fellow Kentucky grantmakers in Lexington!

For its seventh annual conference, Grantmakers of Kentucky will return to Lexington for two days that will include discussions on the future of grantmaking in the commonwealth, opportunities to share insights on how to keep our state moving forward and a look at how the “Horse Capital of the World” has continued to innovate and evolve!

This year’s meeting will begin with an impressive lineup of site visits that will show off our host city – and hopefully inspire your own work! They include a tour of local businesses at The Breadbox, an innovative mixed-use project, and a tour of the city’s revitalized Northside neighborhood!

During our second day, sessions will address how grantmakers can be effective in an uncertain political and policy environment. Our agenda will include:

  • A federal legislative and regulatory update
  • A look at state policies affecting nonprofits
  • A panel discussion focusing on a range of issues, including education,
    health and economic development
  • And more – including a special segment we’re billing as the
    fastest two minutes in philanthropy!

All sessions will take place at our host hotel, the incredible 21c Museum Hotel, where arts and tourism have come together to add a new jewel to the city’s downtown.

Join us August 2-3 in Lexington for the Grantmakers of Kentucky
7th Annual conference – registration is now open!
