 Improving College Graduation Rates

When: Monday, April 24, 2017 · 11:30am – 1:00pm (ET)
Location: The Commerce Club
191 Peachtree St. NW, 49th Floor, Atlanta, GA 30303

Each year, more than 20,000 students are purged from the University System of Georgia (USG) and the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) because of unpaid fees and emergency expenses averaging less than $1000. As a result, many of these young people are unable to access and participate in the civic and economic growth of their communities. Please join us for lunch to hear former USG Chancellor Hank Huckaby, former TCSG Commissioner Ron Jackson and a panel of education and policy experts discuss what we can do together to ensure more students complete college.

You can attend this event in one of two ways – in-person or via teleconference.
Registration to join via teleconference will open soon!

Also, save the date for the GGA Annual Meeting on Friday, September 8, at the Cox Foundation Central Park Campus in Atlanta. More details will be available soon!

To add your name to our mailing list or for questions regarding the
Georgia Grantmakers Alliance (GGA), please contact GGA staff liaison, Will Kauffman.
