Community Foundation Boot Camp

Are you new to the world of community foundation work? Do you know someone who is? Are you an experienced professional seeking a refresher on the latest developments in the field?

If you answered “yes!” to any of these questions, SECF’s Community Foundation Boot Camp is the learning opportunity you’ve been looking for. This two-day training provides a comprehensive overview of a community foundation’s structure and operations. You’ll leave with a better understanding of your work and the motivation to help your foundation broaden its grantmaking impact.

The Community Foundation Boot Camp employs a curriculum developed by the experts at the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance. Sessions include:

  • Community Foundation Overview
  • Fund Management
  • Governance
  • Asset Development
  • Finance and Investments
  • Grantmaking and Community Leadership
  • Operational Sustainability
  • Community Foundation Lifecycles

Join us June 20-21 in Winter Park, Florida, for two days of education and inspiration. You’ll connect with fellow community foundation leaders, get answers to your burning questions and emerge prepared for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead!
