Georgia Grantmakers Alliance Annual Meeting
Building Blocks of Early Childhood

 When: Friday, September 7, 2018 • 8:30am – 3:30pm (ET)
Location: Cox Enterprises
6305 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA 30328

Registration is now open for the Georgia Grantmakers Alliance Annual Meeting! Join us on Friday, September 7, for a day-long look at the essential components of success in early childhood, particularly education and health care, and how philanthropy can best support the next generation of Georgians.

We’ve already assembled a compelling lineup of sessions and speakers looking at early childhood success from a variety of perspectives – not just grantmakers, but also state government, health providers, educators, thought leaders and innovative nonprofits.

Here are just a few of the speakers who will be joining us:

  • Keynote speaker Dr. Geoffrey Nagle of the Erikson Institute, the premier early childhood development organization committed to ensuring that all children have equitable opportunities to realize their potential
  • Mindy Binderman, executive director of the Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students (GEEARS)
  • Dr. Terri McFadden of the Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Pediatrics
  • Visionary philanthropic leaders like Russ Hardin, president of the Robert W. Woodruff Foundation, and Laurene Sperling, president of The Sperling Family Charitable Foundation
  • And more!

Plus, this will be your best opportunity all year to connect with fellow grantmakers committed to the future of our state!

Optional Networking Dinner: Join us the evening before our annual meeting, on Thursday, September 6, at The Center for Civil and Human Rights for a networking dinner event from 6:00pm–8:00pm. Tours of the Center are also available during this time! The cost to attend is $40/person. You can register for this activity on the registration form. Stay tuned for more details!
