In times of slow economic improvement, increasing stresses on our country's social fabric, uncertainty in Congress, recovery from natural disasters and questions about the work and worth of philanthropy, the issue of leadership arises as key. What roles can philanthropy play in the local, regional and national decisions that are so critical at this time? How can we help lead the way for change and improvement in our home communities and in the broader discussions and actions in our society?

The 2011 Annual Meeting has a special focus on philanthropic leadership. We'll celebrate the wisdom we've garnered so far, demonstrate the value that we bring to our communities - both in times of peaceful prosperity and in times of stress, and cultivate a renewed sense of hope and possibility. We'll enhance our skills and knowledge as individual leaders, and strengthen our field as a cadre of leaders for our region. We will rejuvenate our outlook and our commitment to the work of philanthropy. And of course, we'll have a great time with friends and colleagues!  You'll leave refreshed, uplifted and inspired!
